-Original Vintage Seat -One Piece The Mustang Vintage seat has all the features to make it our most popular seat. A full front bucket for the rider is trimmed with a braided edge skirt that comes down over the frame and fender for a clean, uninterrupted look. Passenger seat extends forward slightly to support the rider’s back. Two-piece foam on a single-piece steel base that quickly bolts on using stock locations. New technology adds long distance comfort to the “old” look.

Baseplate Features: Mustang Softail seats will fit all Softail models except 1999-earlier FLSTS Heritage Springers. All Seats are built on 16 gauge formed steel baseplates. A welded nose tab clips into the frame mount behind the gas tank. The baseplates have rubber supports at contact points and carpet to protect the fender.
Important Note: When ordering a 2000-08 one-piece or a 2000-08 rear seat, models below require specific hardware as indicated

Part Number 78037 REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING: 2000-05 Softail: Replacement bracket only required if stock bracket is missing. DO NOT use on FLSTS & FLSTN (see above)
One-Piece Baseplate: All 2000-2005 models require the stock rear mounting bracket be removed from the stock seat and bolted to the Mustang seat.
